University of Maryland Shady Grove campus
TWG worked with Color-Ad of Virginia to develop a tensioned screen cladding for the University of Maryland Shady Grove's new parking garage in Rockville, Maryland. TWG designed a tensioning system to accommodate the smaller screens required for this project. TWG provided 96 total screens in T304 stainless steel to Color-Ad which completed the base Kynar finish and then painted the graphics onto the screens with Matthews paint. Color-Ad provided the installation for the project. The screens cover approximately 5,200 square feet of the garage. The weave is Venetian Waterways I out of T304 stainless. The architect for the garage was DNC Architects of Rockville, Maryland and the GC was Coakley and Williams Construction. |
